Old School Class

March 8 2010: Kamon welcomes former students back with an "Old School Class"

From Monday 12th April, there will be a new earlier class at Croydon from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. This new "Old School" class will be taken by Master Kevin Chan and is aimed at former/lapsed students who wish to regain their Wing Chun skills in a non-competitive, relaxed environment to get back into training again, and for beginners who wish to learn the basics of Wing Chun. This one hour class costing £10 per session will focus on core wing chun skills such as Lok Sao/Chi Sao/Forms. There will be no sparring/exercise/beasting! etc. It is also open to existing students. Please register your interest by emailing Kevin Chan The regular class will start from 7:30pm until 9pm.

Kevin Chan awarded Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt

February 2 2008: Mauricao Gomes awards Kevin his Black Belt

I was told I must attend training this saturday. When I saw everyone was there I thought "This is going to be a hard session". But then I was surprised to be awarded my Black Belt.

In a ceremony held at the Roger Gracie Academy, London, Kevin Chan was awarded his Black Belt by Mauricao Gomes. Kevin joins Jude Samuel, Marc Walder and Rick Young as the only UK students to receive Black Belts from 8 times World Champion, Mauricao. In the photo, Mauricao Gomes is presenting Kevin Chan with his Black Belt.
